bytebones is run by Funck GmbH, and Funck GmbH started out in Oberhausen: in September 2023 it began there as a freelance IT service, with websites, IT support and software for companies in the region. Today we're based in Duisburg-Meiderich, right on the border with Oberhausen. So the distance has stayed short, only the town sign has changed.
