bytebnes

About us

Young, cheeky web design from Duisburg. Backed by a company that runs its own servers, software and websites.

Who's behind it

bytebnes is a service of Funck GmbH from Duisburg. Behind it are our own servers, our own software and people who know their way around websites.

We're based in Duisburg-Styrum and can quickly get to Düsseldorf and all of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). If you'd rather talk in person, feel free to drop by the office.

Funck GmbH runs its own servers in Germany, develops its own software and has been looking after websites for freelancers, medical practices, clubs, mid-sized companies and larger enterprises for years. With bytebnes, we bring that experience into a brand that's a little louder: for everyone who doesn't want to look like everyone else online but still needs a reliable partner in the background. You get web design from Duisburg with its own face, tech that holds up, and someone who'll still know how your site is built three years from now.

A skull lies on a workbench under a workshop lamp, biting into a keyboard, with keys flying through the air.

Why bytebnes?

  • Bite, not site builders

Every site gets its own design. We don't squeeze you into a template, we fit the site to you.

  • Our own server

Your site runs on our server in Germany. No passing you off to big providers, no hold music.

  • Reachable

You have one dedicated contact who knows your site. By phone, email or at the office.

A drawn monkey skeleton in front of a server rack. It holds an unplugged cable and scratches its head in confusion, with three question marks above it.

Allow me to introduce: Codemonkey

Our mascot. Codemonkey stands for everything that goes wrong with websites: plug pulled, nobody knows why, and nobody feels responsible.

We're the opposite of that. Promise.
